Tours and Banquet
We organized a Banquet in the Grand Hotel, Taipei, and tours to visit the National Palace Museum, the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology in Keelung, and the mountain city Jiufen. The banquet of the TCS summer meeting will be held in The Grand Hotel, Taipei. The Grand Hotel, Taipei was established in 1952. It is composed of a 14-storey palace-like building and is the first five-star hotel in Taiwan. The palace-like building, with its vermilion columns and classical architecture, is considered one of Taipei’s landmarks. The banquet features Chinese cuisine and is held in the ballroom of the hotel.

The National Palace Museum (NPM) has an extensive collection of art and artifacts of Chinese heritage. Many of the collections are masterpieces collected by the previous Chinese emperors and the NPM is a treasure trove of Chinese culture.
